A great week in IDAHO!

Last week I took 10 days off and went home for a much needed vacation. We had a BLAST! Words can't express what I feel for these people, MY people. Everything we've gone through this past year has brought us that much closer to the people we were meant to be, to the family we were meant to be. These were my very best friends before I came to this earth, still are, always will be. Love you guys!

I love my sis!

I'm pretty sure we were arguing here, some things never change!

Girls Day! Lunch and a movie, so fun

Fun in the Sun!

Mom pulled me on the jetski- I really was afraid for my life!

Got a little more wake boarding practice in- next summer: back flips! :)

My summer in a nutshell

This is going to be a lot of stuff packed into one post, I apologize! I was going to post my year in a nutshell but I thought that may really get long winded. So here's what I've been up to the last couple months in Provo(some of them are really out of order, I couldn't get the pictures to move, sorry).

Me and Erick at the Nicklecade

There is an arcade in Provo that has a lot of really old games. It was like going back to 1989, I loved it!

Shan's Wedding (old roommate)

Jackie's Birthday Bash

Jackie and Camille were my roommates this summer. I never thought I could find life-long friends in such a short time. Love these girls!

Girls night a.k.a $30 worth of junk food and a sappy movie

LAGOON!

getting ready for the ride "wicked" to start, I'm kind of a chicken

Home teachers

They made us cut out armor so they could shoot us with nerf guns, some kind of object lesson. I really think they just wanted an excuse to shoot us

Owls Game
The Orem owls played the Idaho Falls Chuckars (woo hoo) I talked a lot of smack, but I.F. still lost
Mini Golf

Wake boarding

A guy in my ward asked me to go boating last week, where they attempted to teach me how to wake board. I actually got up on the second try, but became acutely aware that my bathing suit skirt was up. So based on the fact I got up I decided I could attempt one-handed for a couple of seconds to pull the skirt down: I ATE it, hard. It popped the wake board off both feet. When the boat came around they told me I had to give up the skirt (over my dead body) I promised not to mess with it again. I had a BLAST!

I finally did it!

I've been going to start a blog forever and I'm finally getting around to it. I always thought you couldn't have a blog without kids, or at the very least a husband. This summer I made a goal to have some fun, and that is exactly what I've done! I realized that while I was waiting for my life to start I was missing it. So I play as often as I can and date every chance I get. After coming out of one of the hardest times of my life, I have JOY again. I now know the true, simple beauty of a rainbow after a thunderstorm. I am done living in black-and-white; from now on I am living in full-spectrum TECHNICOLOR!
